This blog is about my journey as an artist; my path to giving 100% to my creativity and making a living from what I love. If you are an artist, crafter, blogger, or other creative soul, you may have been approached with the question, How are you going to make a living doing that? Or you may have struggled with the idea of leaving your “day Job” to devote full time to your dream. Or maybe you are like me. I’ve practically been an artist all my life and I have never really done anything else. However, so many times, I’ve doubted the possibility/practicality of living a creative life, and making a creative living. And because of that doubt, I have delayed fully tapping into the earning potential that the creative fields offer. And the funny thing about it is that I’ve never been given a reason to doubt. I’ve only seen success from my experiences with making a living from my art.
I have realized that the fear of knowing that your career’s success and earning potential totally rests on your shoulders alone is what makes artist and other creative people shy away from attempting to make a living totally from their creativity.
